Hi guys
I was so excited to my new exhaust, but was disappointed from the unboxing.
I opened the box around 2 hours after delivery, and sent pictures around 1 hour after that.
The back box was badly scratched, flanges flat spotted, and a bolt missing.
Tue dun started when we came to fit the exhaust, old
Flanges had to be drilled out to allow new bolts.
We also needed new woven gaskets which no one stocked for the size we needed.
It took 24 hours to get these.
When fitting the back box, the hangers held the back box up way too high, and tips would not fit.
We had to modify the bmw hangers to hang the box lower.
Also, all the slip joints still leak.
After hours of trying, we gave up.
It will have to go back in, but after the car being in the ramp at the garage for 9 hours, I took it away due to costs.
The exhaust looked amazing, but I hate the sound, on low revs it sounds amazing, but once past 2500 rebs, it sounds terrible, too high pitched and rattlley.
I looked at lots on line, and maybe it was my fault not doing enough research. But I am not quite happy with the outcome.
Again, probably my fault.
Maybe de cat pipes will sort the tone I need .
Looks good though.
